Dual Study Program in Information Technology

Three-year dual study program in Information Technology (B.Eng.) at the Saxony Cooperative State University in Dresden. The program combines practical training at HZDR with academic content through block-based theory and practical phases; the sixth semester is dedicated to the bachelor’s thesis.

Co-developing and providing modern IT services; developing high-performance and reliable software as part of a team; helping develop operating concepts for the optimal use of hardware and software; working with customers to adapt developed solutions for daily use.

Good to very good performance in mathematics, computer science and English; willingness to perform; independent, careful and precise working style; ability to work in a team; ideally initial programming experience with computers or robots; interest in physics, chemistry and electronics; general upper secondary school with a science profile, technical vocational upper secondary school or technical college.

Welcome days to support the start; fixed remuneration for practice-integrated dual students of €1,625.00 gross per month; annual special payment; annual learning-material allowance of €50.00; company pension scheme; capital-forming benefits; 31 days of annual leave plus two additional days off on December 24 and 31; employee discounts, employer subsidy for the Deutschland-Ticket, health courses and other campus facilities.
