Dual Study Program Computer Science

For the Learning Space division, we are looking for a dual student for the computer science program at the Fürstenfeldbruck location starting 01.09.2026, in cooperation with Hochschule Augsburg. As a (specialized) high school graduate, a university changer from a MINT program, or a soldier, you make the most of your potential by completing your studies with in-depth practical experience in computer science. The regular alternation between theory and practice helps you apply what you have learned directly in the next practice phase, making the course content at the Technical University of Augsburg significantly easier and faster to understand. Towards the end of the degree, almost 40 elective courses are offered at THA, ranging from operating systems and computer games development to IT security, interaction engineering, and web programming. This degree program has restricted admission. From the very beginning, you will gain relevant insight into the processes, structures, and projects of our partner company, be integrated into the team from day one, and receive professional support from experienced colleagues. Good onboarding and a mentor who is available to answer your questions ensure a pleasant and safe start with us.

Your tasks: Degree program with in-depth practical experience in computer science; regular alternation between theory and practice phases; elective courses at THA; insights into processes, structures, and projects of the partner company.

School leavers: You are completing your high school diploma (Abitur) or specialized university entrance qualification (Fachabitur) in the spring and looking for a degree program where theory and practice alternate? Your grades—especially in mathematics and computer science—are strong? University changers: You know that your current degree program lacks practical relevance and you want to develop yourself long-term in the field of computer science? Soldiers: Your active service in the armed forces is ending soon and your previous focus was in information and telecommunications technology or a comparable field? You are interested in mathematics and computer science and highly motivated to successfully complete the demanding dual degree program? Enthusiasm, self-motivation, determination, and discipline are important qualities to successfully pursue this path.
