You learn the manual and mechanical processing of materials, such as sawing, drilling, turning, and milling. You assemble pneumatic and hydraulic controls using circuit and functional diagrams. You maintain forming and cutting machines and their control and regulation technology. You optimize the processes of machines and their environment. Your theoretical training takes place at the vocational school in Landsberg.

School leaving certificate: Lower secondary school certificate (Mittelschulabschluss), intermediate secondary school certificate (mittlere Reife), or Abitur (university entrance qualification). Interest: Enjoyment of mathematics and physics and independent solving of technical problems. Skills: Manual dexterity, technical understanding. Personality: Good communication skills, enjoyment of teamwork.
