Business Controller

HUSQVARNA Forest & Garden develops solutions for forest, park and garden, from chainsaws to robotic mowers. A Business Controller is sought for the Ulm site to manage finance processes, forecasts and reporting.

• Managing and optimizing finance processes to produce a reliable sales forecast
• Defining relevant activities and measures for cost management along the development of the sales forecast to ensure a rolling financial forecast
• Transparency on compliance with and fulfillment of the budget (revenue and cost view)
• Meeting financial reporting requirements for the Forest and Garden division and for Husqvarna Germany as a whole

• Completed degree in business administration, economics, finance, controlling or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or business controlling
• Sound knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and management reporting
• Experience analyzing business metrics and deriving recommendations for action
• Very good knowledge of cost management and earnings and profitability analysis
• Strong business understanding and entrepreneurial thinking
• Confident use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Very good Excel skills and a strong affinity for data and numbers
• Good knowledge of accounting and business relationships
• Negotiation-level German and English, written and spoken
