Shop Floor Supervisor

Shop floor leadership role at Husqvarna Group in Ulm Hans-Lorenser-Str., responsible for material flow, staff, safety and the quality of logistics processes.

• Ensure smooth material flow across goods receipt, warehousing, production supply and dispatch
• Lead, coach and develop shift leaders, floaters and operational employees
• Ensure compliance with workplace, equipment and traffic safety rules and all quality and process requirements
• Monitor productivity, quality, service level and performance indicators
• Be present on the shop floor daily to actively manage operations, set priorities and solve problems
• Manage mechanical and IT disruptions, including escalation and ticket tracking
• Plan staffing, shifts, holidays and short-notice staff transfers
• Check and ensure that racking, industrial trucks and the entire fleet are in proper condition
• Support process improvements, lean activities, stocktakes and inventory checks
• Work closely with team management and the control centre to ensure orders are fulfilled and processes meet quality standards

• Completed vocational training in logistics as a warehouse logistics specialist; further training as a master logistics professional is an advantage
• Ideally, experience in logistics, logistics processes and warehouse operations management
• Good knowledge of shop floor operations
• Technical knowledge and experience in managing employees
• Ability to quickly understand and assess complex situations
• A structured, organised and solution-focused approach to work
• Good spoken and written English
