The Dr. Georg Haar Foundation is a recognised provider of independent child and youth welfare in Weimar. In our children's and youth residential groups, family residential groups, counselling centres and other social facilities, we accompany young people with various social, family and personal challenges on their way to a self-determined life. Our goal is to open up prospects for children, young people and families and to support them individually.

• Accompanying and supporting children and young people in everyday life
• Co-creating a safe and development-promoting living environment in the residential groups
• Planning and implementing leisure, educational and group activities
• Supporting school, social and personal development processes
• Participating in help planning and pedagogical support measures
• Cooperating with families, schools, youth welfare offices and other network partners
• Providing support in crisis situations and in developing individual solution strategies
• Gaining insights into various facilities and projects of the foundation
