Your Role: Main activities in your new role: Experience research: You support the characterization and execution of measurements on gas sensors. Keep track: You evaluate test results, analyze and document them and prepare the results in presentations. Shape the future: You modify existing measurement setups and support their construction and optimization. Teamwork makes the difference: You support the design, construction and testing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). Be creative: You participate in programming tasks, especially in the area of measurement automation and data evaluation. Take responsibility: You independently work on smaller technical sub-projects and work closely with the development team. Your Profile: Qualifications and skills that will help you succeed: Field of study: You are currently pursuing a technical degree, for example in electrical engineering, microsystems engineering, (technical) computer science or a comparable field. Knowledge: You have basic knowledge of electrical engineering and basic programming skills, for example in Python; knowledge of other programming languages is welcome. Experience: You ideally have initial experience in laboratory work, measurement technology or handling electronic circuits. Interests: You are enthusiastic about technical issues and innovative solutions. Way of working: You are characterized by an independent, conscientious and goal-oriented way of working. Knowledge: You are confident in using common Microsoft Office applications. Language skills: You have good German and English skills, both written and spoken. Important Information: Part-time work: The focus is on your studies. Therefore, the working student activity during the lecture period is possible for a maximum of 20 hours per week. Regularly enrolled students are welcome: To work as a working student with us, you must be enrolled at a university and not have completed all examinations or modules of your studies. We look forward to welcoming you to our team for at least 6 months. Please note that you must not be in a vacation semester. You should live near the work location: For a good cooperation, it is important to us that you can come to the site regularly to integrate into the team. Additional Information: This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time basis), employment group B for bachelor students or employment group D for master students (link).
