About this Apprenticeship
- The novel synchronous induction machine combines the robust principle of the asynchronous machine with the efficiency advantages of a synchronous machine. You support us in the experimental investigation of this machine concept and thus contribute to the evaluation and further development of the technology. Your Role Main activities in your new role:
- Experience research: You conduct measurements and data acquisition to investigate a novel synchronous induction motor in motor and generator operation
- Take responsibility: You modify the existing test setup for generator operation
- Data is everything: You evaluate the recorded measurement data and determine relevant machine parameters
- Focus on the future: You calculate the components of the equivalent circuit diagram and verify it based on the obtained measurement results

Requirements
- Your Profile Qualifications and skills that help you succeed You are studying electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree program and are interested in electrical machines and drive technology. With your technical understanding and structured way of working, you want to practically investigate and further develop innovative machine concepts.
- Degree program: You are studying for a Master's in electrical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable degree program
- Availability: You are available for a duration of three months and ideally have an interest in deepening the subject area in a subsequent Master's thesis if suitable
- Working style: You convince with an independent and structured way of working
- Skills: You have a good understanding of the asynchronous machine and good knowledge of digital signal processing, as well as ideally knowledge of Matlab/Simulink
- Language skills: You have very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
