• Independent processing of planar optical components such as plane-parallel plates, prisms, and mirrors manually and by machine
• Faceting, cementing, lacquering, and cleaning of components
• Lapping/grinding of planar optics
• Independent monitoring of specified process parameters according to technical documents
• Documentation of process data
• Close coordination with upstream and downstream areas

• Completed vocational training in the field of precision optics or lateral entry with experience in technical areas such as industrial mechanics or dental technology
• Sensitivity in handling optical glasses as well as manual dexterity
• Careful way of working combined with a high quality awareness
• Enjoyment of working in a team
• Willingness to work in a 2-shift system
• Microsoft Office application skills are an advantage
