Field Service Engineer for Optical Metrology

Field Service Engineer for optical measurement and manufacturing systems at TRIOPTICS (Jenoptik) in Wedel, with national and international travel.

• Independent preparation, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of optical measurement and manufacturing systems at national and international customers
• Independent support and care of customers on site or by remote maintenance
• Support of external and internal customers via the service ticket system
• Carrying out all necessary steps for installing and commissioning new products and training users on systems and software
• Creating, maintaining and tracking customer-specific maintenance and service plans
• Ensuring maintenance and repair work at the customer site
• Creating service and maintenance reports
• Support in training and further education of customers and colleagues
• Close cooperation with the service support team and interfaces to R&D, sales and production

• Successfully completed degree (Bachelor) in electronics, mechanical engineering or a comparable field (or equivalent vocational training)
• 3 - 5 years of professional experience in field service, ideally in optical measurement and manufacturing technology as well as installation and maintenance
• Strong customer orientation and service mindset, high initiative and commitment
• High flexibility, willingness to travel and intercultural openness
• Fluent German and English
• Confident use of MS Office and ERP solutions
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for about 50-60%
