Product Manager Consumer Outdoor B2C (2-year fixed-term)

We are continuing to grow our Consumer Outdoor Business and are looking for strategic reinforcement as part of a parental leave cover! In this role, you will take the helm for one of our absolute focus product groups, in which we are proud market leaders.

• In this varied position, you will play a key role in shaping innovative product developments. You will take responsibility for the product portfolio of your category throughout its entire lifecycle: from the development of initial ideas through sales and revenue planning, pricing and variant development to successful market launch.
• You communicate confidently with all relevant interfaces (e.g. development, application engineering, testing, marketing, purchasing, sales and service).
• As a sub-project manager, you will accompany product development projects from the innovation and idea phase (including creation and presentation of specifications and marketing strategies) and thus make a significant contribution to our future consumer product portfolio.
• Based on market, target group and competitor analyses, you identify trends and customer needs in close coordination with the marketing and market research departments and develop effective go-to-market strategies.
• You will also present our new products at market launches to internal and external audiences.
• Last but not least, you advise our foreign subsidiaries on questions relating to products, product launches and marketing activities.

• A successfully completed degree in business administration or a technical field (e.g. economics, innovation management, business administration with a focus on marketing, international business development, product management or industrial engineering) or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in (international) product or project management in a manufacturing company in a B2C environment.
• Good technical understanding, enthusiasm for new technologies and a good sense of trends.
• Negotiation-level German and English skills.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Strong communication skills and analytical thinking combined with openness to innovation and creative solutions.
