About this Apprenticeship
Kaufland's school leaver programme offers three Chamber of Industry and Commerce qualifications and leadership responsibility. It combines 1.5 years of retail sales training with 1.5 years of advanced retail management training and a trainer qualification. The full-time role in Bergkamen starts on 1 August 2027 and is listed as permanent.
What You'll Learn
- Manage goods processes from ordering to sales and help create a good shopping experience for customers.
- Develop leadership skills by taking responsibility for a product department, staff scheduling and stocktakes.
- Help analyse business figures, such as your store's sales.
Requirements
- You already hold, or are about to complete, your Abitur or university of applied sciences entrance qualification.
- You are interested in food and want to learn more about ordering, selling goods and our product range.
- You enjoy approaching people and can win them over with your communication skills.
- You are highly motivated, reliable and flexible about working around our store opening hours.
What Kaufland Dienstleistung GmbH & Co. KG offers
- More qualifications: complete 1.5 years of training as a retail sales professional, followed by 1.5 years of advanced training as a retail management specialist (Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce), plus a trainer qualification.
- At least €1,350 gross per month for the first six months, at least €1,500 gross per month from months 7 to 18, and pay above the agreed pay scale from month 19, plus holiday and Christmas pay and six weeks of holiday each year.
- Three qualifications in three years, plus covered accommodation and meal costs during classroom training at an external education centre.
- Strong prospects of a job after passing your final exams, with the chance to manage your own product department straight away if you perform well, plus a bonus for good training results.
- A trainer by your side and thorough exam preparation to develop your practical skills and knowledge.
- Events and competitions such as fitfortrade, plus discounts on fitness, leisure activities and the Deutschland-Ticket.
- All pay, holiday pay and Christmas pay details are based on the currently applicable agreed pay scale.
