• During the first 1.5 years, you complete a retail apprenticeship, followed by 1.5 years of advanced training as a certified trade specialist (Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce). You also gain a trainer qualification.
• You take charge of goods processes from ordering to sales and of our customers’ shopping experience.
• Take responsibility for a product department, staff scheduling and stocktaking.
• Help analyse business figures, such as your store’s sales.
• At least €1,350 gross per month during the first six months, at least €1,500 gross per month from months 7 to 18, and pay above the fixed pay scale from month 19. You also receive holiday and Christmas pay and six weeks of annual leave.
• Three qualifications in three years. We also cover accommodation and meals during your classroom phases at an external training centre.
• You have strong chances of a permanent role after passing your final examination. With good performance, you can move straight into managing your own product department. You also receive a bonus for good training results.
• Your trainer and thorough exam preparation help you build both practical skills and theoretical knowledge for your future.
• Events and competitions, such as fitfortrade, plus discounts on fitness, leisure activities and the Deutschlandticket.
• All information about pay, holiday pay and Christmas pay is based on the current fixed pay agreement.
