• During the first 1.5 years, you complete vocational training as a retail sales specialist, followed by 1.5 years of further training as a trade and commerce specialist (Bachelor Professional of Trade and Commerce). You also gain a trainer qualification.
• You take charge of stock processes from ordering to sales and of customers' shopping experience.
• Develop management skills by taking responsibility for a product department, staff scheduling and stocktaking.
• Help analyse business figures, such as your store's sales.
• At least €1,350 gross per month during the first six months, at least €1,500 gross per month during months 7 to 18, and pay above the standard pay scale from month 19. You also receive holiday pay, a Christmas bonus and six weeks of annual leave.
• Three qualifications in three years, with accommodation and meals covered during classroom learning at an external education centre.
• Strong prospects of a job after passing the final examination, potentially managing your own product department directly if you perform well. A bonus is also available for completing the training with good results.
• A dedicated trainer and thorough examination preparation help you build practical and theoretical skills for the future.

• All information on pay, holiday pay and the Christmas bonus is based on the applicable pay agreement.
