Intern Marketing International - Market Research / Category Management

Do you want more than university and want to gain first professional insights and make contacts? As an intern at Kaufland, you are part of a strong team from the start and can show what you are made of. The placement is for a duration of at least 6 months.

• Dive into the data-driven world of an international category management department and work with colleagues from different departments and Kaufland countries.
• You support your team with analyses of market, competition and shoppers and show your strengths in projects, both in ongoing tasks and ad hoc requests in daily business.
• You get to know many different data sources and work with various tools (mainly from the GfK household panel and Nielsen retail panel).
• Contribute your theoretical knowledge to interpreting the data and derive insights for our internal customers.
• You visualize complex topics in a simple and understandable way and thereby support our international purchasing in its negotiations with the brand industry.

• You are currently studying business administration, economics, volkswirtschaft (economics), sociology or a comparable degree program in the undergraduate or main study phase.
• You are passionate about working with data and about the retail and brand industry.
• Good analytical skills, quick comprehension and strong argumentation skills set you apart.
• You think and work in a structured way, but also enjoy teamwork and contribute solutions you have developed yourself.
• Solid Google Workspace skills, especially in Sheets and Slides, round off your profile.
