Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic

During the apprenticeship, you will manufacture and process components, assemble machines and assemblies, set up production equipment and maintain it.

• You manufacture and process components, for example by drilling, turning or milling.
• You assemble machines and assemblies using technical drawings.
• You set up machines and production equipment and put them into operation.
• You maintain, inspect and repair machines so that production runs reliably.
• When faults occur, you identify the cause and correct the problem.
• You inspect components and test whether machines are working correctly.
• You work with hand tools and CNC machines, follow safety rules and coordinate with other teams.

• Very good lower secondary school certificate, intermediate secondary school certificate or an equivalent qualification
• Independent, careful and responsible way of working
• Ability to work in a team, reliability and openness when dealing with others
• Technical interest and good manual skills
• Motivation to learn new things and get actively involved
