In your three-year apprenticeship at KIND, you will become an expert in optometry and analyze your customers' visual needs using state-of-the-art technical equipment and measurement methods to recommend the best possible visual solution. In the specialist store, you will learn what matters in fair, transparent, and competent consultation. You will develop a keen sense of aesthetics and style to always find the perfect glasses model for your customers. You will also work hands-on in the glasses workshop of your specialist store, practicing the manufacture and adjustment of glasses.

You enjoy giving people a better quality of life. Beauty, style, and fashion interest you, and you like discovering new trends. Technology and digitalization excite you. You are manually skilled and enjoy practical work. You have a good understanding of physics and biology, and you are comfortable interacting openly with people of all ages. You can communicate confidently in German – both written and spoken. Your German language skills are therefore at least B2 level; C1 is an advantage.
