In your three-year apprenticeship at KIND, you will become an expert in acoustics, electronics, anatomy, audiology, and psychology. In the specialist store, you will learn what matters in fair, transparent, and competent advice. We teach you the know-how for all manual and technical tasks related to hearing systems. This includes, among other things, determining the individual hearing ability of your customers using hearing tests, creating three-dimensional ear impressions, or adjusting hearing aids. In addition to the practical training in the specialist store, you attend vocational school in Lübeck for 8 blocks of 3–5 weeks each.

You enjoy giving people more quality of life. You are manually skilled and enjoy practical work. Technology and digitalization inspire you. You have a good understanding of physics and biology, and you are comfortable dealing openly with people of all ages. You can communicate confidently in German – both written and spoken. Your German language skills are therefore at least at B2 level; C1 knowledge is an advantage.
