DBT Ward Manager

A qualified ward manager is sought for the open depression and DBT ward P8a. The position involves providing high-quality patient care as well as empathetically leading and managing employees.

• Managing and organizing the ward
• Economic management and planning of staffing, as well as ensuring professional qualifications and competencies
• Managing and developing subordinate employees
• Quality assurance and development: ensuring nursing quality, nursing documentation, nursing standards and diagnoses, service instructions and performance checks
• Coordinating workflows and optimizing processes, such as treatment processes
• Targeted and needs-based team and staff development
• Ensuring targeted and appropriate onboarding and instruction in nursing services
• Initiating and supporting new and innovative nursing concepts
• Helping to further develop the Clinic for Special Psychiatry, Social Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
• Close interprofessional cooperation with the medical, psychological and nursing management team and all professional groups involved in the process

• You are a qualified healthcare and nursing professional or geriatric nurse
• You have completed further training in ward or department management or a management degree in nursing or healthcare, or intend to complete such further training or a degree soon
• Further training in psychiatry would be desirable
• You have specialist knowledge of psychiatry or experience working with psychiatric patients
• You are interested in working with people in difficult life situations
• You have organizational skills and a strong sense of responsibility

• You identify with the clinic's goals and are interested in actively implementing and further developing the nursing mission in everyday ward life
