About this Apprenticeship
Koenig & Bauer MetalPrint GmbH in Stuttgart is looking for a working student for its Development & Design Engineering department. Koenig & Bauer is a global printing press manufacturer with over 200 years of history.
What You'll Learn
- Updating & revision: You adapt existing 2D and 3D design drawings and assemblies in SolidWorks to current manufacturing and standards requirements
- Master data maintenance: You maintain and correct drawing data, bills of materials and item master data in the CAD/ERP system
- Detailing: You create production-ready detail drawings, derived outputs and documentation for production
- Interface work: You work closely with our design engineers and production to clarify technical questions directly
- You report directly to the head of department
Requirements
- Studies: Currently studying mechanical engineering, mechatronics, production engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical degree programme
- CAD skills: Solid practical or academic experience with SolidWorks (3D modelling & deriving 2D drawings)
- Technical understanding: Good understanding of technical relationships, tolerances and standards-compliant drawing (DIN/ISO)
- Working style: Careful, structured and independent way of working with an eye for detail
- Languages: Good written and spoken German and English
- Personality: Organisational skills, communication skills and team spirit
