Product Manager Digital Platform WIRE Mind

To strengthen our team we are looking for an experienced Product Manager (m/f/d) who will be responsible for the strategic further development, scaling and commercialization of our digital platform WIRE Mind. WIRE Mind is a digital platform for industrial wire harness production that seamlessly transforms ECAD data into production-relevant manufacturing information. The position leverages synergies in the smart factory environment and experience from our locations in Dunningen, Nuremberg and the USA. A key component is customer proximity to optimally implement their requirements and processes into products.

• Identification and specification of new product features and service offerings based on a profound understanding of markets and customer requirements
• Close collaboration with customers to capture and validate requirements (Voice of Customer)
• Definition of the product roadmap together with the Product Owner and ensuring its management and implementation in an agile way, product responsibility throughout the entire lifecycle
• Close coordination and teamwork with Product Owner and development team to achieve customer benefit, product quality and appropriate time-to-market
• Development of successful and sustainable business and pricing models for responsible products in coordination with stakeholders
• Participation in the global portfolio development of Komax Smart Factory and Digital Services offerings
• Active collaboration with sales to achieve customer proximity and ensure focus on improving the customer offering
• Collection and interpretation of market data to gain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitors and their offerings and growth potentials
• Monitoring of digital solutions and competitor products available in the market
• Responsibility for release management, documentation, training and product lifecycle
• Active management and support of all go-to-market, sales and enablement activities for WIRE Mind to ensure successful customer adoption, market penetration and achievement of revenue and growth targets
• Presentation of products, services and service business models to various target groups internally and externally
• Active participation in Digital Services meetings, taking on tasks to improve the digital service business within the Komax Group

• Successfully completed technical or business degree, or comparable training
• At least 5 years of experience in product management or directly related areas, preferably 3 or more years in software / digital services in an industrial environment
• Solid experience with digital enterprise products in an industrial environment
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in the use of ECAD systems (preferably EPLAN, Zuken E3 or WSCAD)
• Experience in system introduction and integration
• At least basic understanding of technical aspects such as software development process, architecture, system landscape, interfaces
• Experience in conducting market analyses to identify trends, customer needs and competitive activities
• Knowledge in developing and optimizing business models for digital products/services, ideally experience with recurring revenue/subscription-based pricing models and strategies
• Fluent communication in English and German (oral and written)
• Routine handling of common office tools (MS Office, Atlassian etc.)
• Willingness to travel nationally/internationally
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation confidence and persuasive eloquence
• Interface competence
