As a globally active Swiss company, Komax develops and manufactures serial production machines, customer-specific systems, quality assurance modules, test systems, networking solutions and services for various industries. They are looking for a Strategic Buyer for global procurement strategies.

• Developing and implementing global procurement strategies
• Identifying and using procurement synergies at national and global level and optimizing the existing supplier base
• Planning, preparing and negotiating global framework agreements
• Optimizing purchasing processes as well as training, supporting and monitoring local implementation of defined processes
• Risk management of global supply chains and deriving suitable strategies and measures
• Independently conducting price and contract negotiations with suppliers
• Determining, continuously tracking and reporting relevant purchasing KPIs

• Completed technical or business degree
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing at an industrial company
• Experience in contract negotiation under the relevant contract law
• Sound knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Negotiation-level German and English skills
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally on business
