About this Apprenticeship
An operational purchasing role at the Komax Group, a provider of automated wire processing solutions. The role covers purchase orders, supplier development, and price and contract negotiations.
What You'll Learn
- Handle operational purchasing, including the complete order process from enquiry to invoice checking, master data maintenance and delivery tracking
- Select and develop suppliers
- Handle returns and repairs
- Conduct price and contract negotiations independently
- Identify and achieve cost savings
- Assess and decide whether to make or buy
- Support the department head in operational and strategic matters
Requirements
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training
- Experience in purchasing at an industrial company is desirable
- Several years of experience in operational purchasing, ideally in project business
- Technical understanding and an interest in mechanical engineering
- Good written and spoken English
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
