About this Apprenticeship
As a care and activities assistant at Korian under Sections 43b and 53b of Germany's Social Code XI, you support the mental and physical well-being of people who need care and help make residents' daily lives more varied and enjoyable.
What You'll Learn
- Provide and plan varied social support based on residents' needs
- Help residents stay active and engaged
- Accompany residents to cultural and leisure events
- Prepare and run individual and group activities with residents
- Carry out administrative tasks
Requirements
- Care for people who need support, teamwork, empathy and warmth
- Qualification as a care and activities assistant under Section 43b of Germany's Social Code XI
- A confident and professional manner
- Enjoyment of working with older people and people who need care
- Strong communication skills, reliability and willingness to help
