About this Apprenticeship
As a gerontopsychiatric specialist, you lovingly prepare and carry out one-to-one and group care for people in need of care in a nursing home. You are a support, anchor, help and companion for the people entrusted to us and for care assistants, trainees and interns.
What You'll Learn
- Individual and activating social care for our residents
- Preparation and delivery of one-to-one and group care with our residents
- Support with managing daily life
- Implementation of care documentation and planning
- Close contact with residents, relatives and doctors
- Compliance with quality assurance measures
- Helping with the professional guidance and development of care assistants, trainees and interns
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in geriatric or general nursing
- Additional qualification as a gerontopsychiatric specialist (f/m/d)
- Enjoyment of working with elderly people and people in need of care
- Empathy and a sense of responsibility
