Social Services Employee

Our COMO facility in Oberursel is looking for a social services professional. We care for 36 residents with mental illness and care needs.

• Planning, carrying out and documenting individual and group care and participation offers
• Creating, implementing and regularly reviewing participation plans and care measures, plus experience working with the LWV Hessen
• Planning and running leisure activities, trips, celebrations and internal events
• Individual support and encouragement of residents according to their abilities, wishes and needs
• Support with social integration and organising a daily routine that is as self-determined as possible
• Cooperation with nursing staff, relatives, legal guardians, doctors and other internal and external contacts
• Contributing to case discussions, resident talks and developing individual care offers

• Completed degree or state recognition as a curative education specialist, psychological psychotherapist (under PsychThG), social pedagogue, social worker or occupational therapist
• At least two years of experience in mental and/or intellectual disability or addiction illnesses
• Strong empathy and the ability to respond individually to our residents' needs
• Flexibility and openness to the dynamic demands of daily life in our facility
• Good MS Office skills
• Socially motivated personality, empathy and leadership skills
• Confident manner combined with strong communication skills
