Heavy Equipment Operator / Career Changer as Mining Technologist in Shift Work

In production and technology underground at K+S Minerals and Agriculture GmbH, in the Unterbreizbach and Hattorf/Wintershall mines in Philippsthal, you work in a three-shift system.

• Driving and operating heavy equipment and machines underground (e.g. loading machines, etc.)
• Performing work underground in the extraction area and in rear mine workings
• Checking operating equipment and work tools for proper condition, and vehicles and machines before each start for traffic and operational safety
• Observing laws, regulations and instructions

• Successfully completed technical or skilled-trade vocational training, e.g. in mining, civil engineering or a similar field
• Solid knowledge of technical processes and of operating work machines and systems
• Good grasp of operational processes is required, as well as teamwork, flexibility, accuracy and conscientiousness
• Independent work and safety-conscious action
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime in the three-shift system, including weekends and holidays, and health suitability for permanent work underground (mine fitness)
