Field Service Technician

Discover what you can move at the KUKA Group. You perform maintenance, repair, and service work on modern robot systems at our customers from a wide range of industries. Your tasks also include commissioning, configuration, error analysis and troubleshooting, as well as the start-up support of new systems. You optimize existing robot systems during ongoing production operations, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of system performance. As a technical contact person, you support our customers within the framework of hotline and on-call services. With your expertise, you advise our customers on the diverse KUKA services and help to sustainably secure productivity and system availability. After comprehensive onboarding, you will independently handle service assignments and work closely with colleagues from Customer Service and other departments. Your focus is on the regions of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Saarland, and parts of Lower Saxony. Depending on the project, you also support customers throughout Germany or work with international subsidiaries. You will experience varied working days with exciting customer projects and state-of-the-art robotics technology. You will use a company car that is also available for private use. With a high degree of personal responsibility in direct customer contact, you have the opportunity to actively contribute to the optimization and future design of automated production processes.

You have completed a technical vocational training, for example in mechatronics, electrical engineering, or mechanics. Further training as a technician or master craftsman is an advantage but not a prerequisite. You have a high willingness to travel within Germany and to neighboring countries. Flexible working hours, including occasional assignments on weekends and public holidays, are a matter of course for you. You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills, both written and spoken. Analytical thinking skills and a structured, independent way of working characterize you. With your confident demeanor, high commitment, and reliability, you convince both customers and colleagues. Ideally, you already have experience in the fields of robotics, automation technology, or plant engineering. You enjoy working in a team, appreciate the exchange with different people, and are interested in international projects and different cultures. Independent, project-oriented, and solution-oriented work is something you enjoy. You hold a class B driver's license.
