About this Apprenticeship

The sustainable transformation and the related regulatory requirements are fundamentally changing the financial industry. At LBBW, we actively shape this change: we combine sustainability, regulatory requirements and economic management into viable solutions for our group and our customers. In your internship you gain insight into the interface of ESG regulation, sustainability strategy and overarching group management. You support the team in analyzing regulatory and strategic questions, prepare information and possible action needs for LBBW, and work with the responsible departments on practical concepts.

What You'll Learn

  • You support the analysis of the business environment, monitor relevant developments and help draw strategic conclusions for LBBW
  • You support the team in developing and implementing LBBW's sustainability strategy and learn about regulatory, business strategy and economic perspectives
  • You research national and European ESG regulation, prepare new requirements and help assess their impact on LBBW
  • You support internal and external sustainability communication by preparing content for presentations, reports and other communication formats in an understandable way
  • You support sustainability reporting and disclosure, for example in connection with the CSRD
  • You structure information on regulatory and strategic questions and prepare it clearly for different target groups

Requirements

  • You are studying economics, law, business law, sustainability management or a comparable degree program
  • You are interested in the transformation of the economy and financial sector as well as strategic and regulatory questions. Initial knowledge of banking, ESG regulation or reporting is an advantage but not a requirement
  • You enjoy getting into new topics, think analytically and can prepare complex information in a structured and understandable way
  • You enjoy working in a team, get actively involved and take responsibility for your tasks
