ServiceNow Integration Engineer & CMDB/CSDM Expert

The position focuses on the conception and technical control of integrations of our ServiceNow platform. Additionally, you will shape the further development of the CMDB according to CSDM and ensure that data from connected systems can be reliably used in a consistent structure.

Conception of integrations between ServiceNow and other systems including definition of interfaces, data flows, responsibilities and technical requirements Technical control of implementation and further development of integrations, evaluation of solution approaches and support in analysis of complex errors Ensuring traceable documentation and reliable operability of integrations Analysis of existing connections based on agreed standards and development of practical measures for further development of integration landscape Further development of CMDB according to Common Service Data Model (CSDM), in particular design of data models and standards for Configuration Items and their relationships Evaluation of data takeover from connected systems and their classification in a consistent CMDB structure Definition of requirements and quality rules for integrated data, analysis of data gaps and contradictions and coordination of improvements with responsible teams Development of cross-functional solutions with Platform Architect, Lead Developer, Solution Designer and other subject matter experts, where necessary understandable preparation of technical decision options for management Close cooperation with responsible ServiceNow architects, especially for ITSM, Platform Owner and Enterprise Architecture

Completed degree in computer science or business informatics or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience Experience in the conception and technical support of ServiceNow system integrations as well as sound knowledge of interfaces and data flows between systems Practical experience with REST APIs, IntegrationHub and MID Server as well as very good knowledge of the ServiceNow Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) Sound practical experience with ServiceNow and good understanding of the interplay of integrations, data model and data quality Knowledge of building CMDB Health, confident use of Data Foundations Dashboards for CSDM and CMDB as well as experience with CMDB Workspace tools for analysis and improvement of data quality ServiceNow certifications as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Implementation Specialist Discovery, Certified Implementation Specialist Service Mapping and Certified Implementation Specialist Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM) Cross-system thinking, structured analysis of technical contexts and ability to communicate solution options clearly Enjoy working with different teams and an eye for technical standards and practical solutions Very good German and good English skills
