Training as a Chemical Technician

Chemical technicians monitor and control chemical production in large-scale industrial plants. Precise measurements, inspections, responsibility and reliability ensure safe production processes.

Inspect and operate valves, measuring devices and control equipment; control computer-assisted production plants and production lines; monitor filling and packaging systems; document the production process; carry out chemical quality-control analyses; comply with safety and environmental regulations.

Enthusiasm for scientific subjects; interest in technical processes; active teamwork; a safe, careful and reliable working style; willingness to work shifts; at least a lower secondary school certificate after grade 10.
