Liquidity Risk Controller at Sparkasse KölnBonn – Part-time 40

As a savings bank, we work in and for the region. We belong to Cologne and Bonn like the people who live here. The team is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and communicating liquidity risk. This includes the preparation, maintenance, and further development of liquidity maturity analyses in various liquidity perspectives, as well as the regular review of (stress) risk models. We report directly to the management committees.

You will measure liquidity risks and monitor limits using the systems of the S-Finance Group. Furthermore, you will further develop the measurement of liquidity risks with a view to savings bank-specific issues. You will create and maintain method and process documentation (e.g., the liquidity contingency plan). You will discuss liquidity risk measurement issues within the team and answer inquiries from supervisory authorities, auditors, or other bodies as part of audits. You will benefit from intensive practical onboarding by your new team.

You have successfully completed a university degree – ideally with a quantitative focus – or possess a comparable qualification. Ideally, you have experience in risk controlling or bank management. You are proficient in MS Office applications and have experience working with databases and large amounts of data. You enjoy both teamwork and independent, structured, and results-oriented work.
