An apprenticeship as an electronics technician for energy and building technology at the Göppingen/Ursenwang site. You will learn about electrical engineering, cable networks, electrical systems, charging stations, transformer substations and the basics of overhead-line construction while working on changing construction sites.

Professional cable installation for local network operators, testing cable networks and components, and resolving faults as part of a team. Testing electrical systems, documenting measurement results and carrying out scheduled maintenance. Installing charging stations of up to 400 kW, connecting them to the public supply network, and installing connections, terminals and transformer substations of up to 20,000 volts. Gaining insight into substation operations and the basics of overhead-line construction. Working in various electrical fields and preparing for examinations in the trainee workshop.

Manual dexterity and enjoyment of physical work outdoors. Good technical and mathematical understanding. Enjoyment of working with machines, tools and equipment. High reliability and motivation to work with a team. At least a Realschulabschluss or currently working towards one. German skills at least at B2 level.

Training remuneration of €1,122 in the first year rising to up to €1,610 in the third year, plus holiday pay, a 13th monthly salary and a profit-related bonus. Monthly travel allowance of €60, support with a Class B driving licence and free driving-safety training. Your own laptop for the entire training period.
