Dual Study Program in Business Administration - Food Management 2027

The three-year dual study program starts on September 1, 2027, with a paid welcome month. It combines theory at DHBW Heilbronn with practical work at Lidl Stiftung and provides knowledge of business administration, the food industry, sustainability and product knowledge.

Complete alternating theory and practical phases every three months; acquire business administration knowledge and expertise in the food industry, sustainability and product knowledge; gain sensory learning experience in the Sensoricum; learn about international purchasing and help develop the food assortment from idea to shelf-ready product; gain insight into supplier discussions and negotiations; support trend scouting; learn about the area in an international environment during a placement abroad.

Abitur or subject-specific Abitur with good grades, especially in mathematics, German, English and, where applicable, economics; willingness to take on early responsibility in internationally oriented projects; interest in current food trends, nutrition and the food industry; strong communication skills, commitment, willingness to take responsibility, independence and teamwork; willingness to travel; above-average German and English language skills.

Paid welcome month; intensive support from the HR department, specialist department and a mentor; thorough onboarding; insight into stores and logistics centers; opportunity to gain international experience in a European country organization; remuneration of €1,650 in the first year, €1,750 in the second year and €1,950 in the third year; strong prospects for permanent employment, for example as a junior consultant.
