Apprenticeship as Specialist for Protection and Security

• Participation in the organization and preparation of locking services
• Conducting control and patrol rounds to ensure order and safety on the operating premises, in the terminal, and in the area assigned to Lufthansa Group
• Reception and support of visitors
• Communication in challenging situations (e.g., through de-escalation)
• Identification of security deficits, hazards, and damages
• Creation and maintenance of reports as well as complete documentation of all relevant events, incidents, and measures taken during deployment (e.g., accident recording)
• Monitoring and securing of aircraft
• Conducting entry and exit controls

• At least intermediate school leaving certificate (Mittlere Reife)
• Very good German skills (C2) and good English skills (B2) in speaking and writing
• Class B driver's license (available at start or obtained during apprenticeship)
• Minimum age: 17 years completed in the first apprenticeship year
• Willingness to work shifts (night, weekend, and holiday duty from the 3rd apprenticeship year)
• Strong observational skills and service orientation
• Interest in legal foundations
• Team-oriented work, communication skills, reliability, and the ability to keep a cool head in demanding situations
• Physical and mental resilience
