Specialist in the Care Service with Deputy Cover for the Team Lead

As a specialist in the care service at the LVR-Verbund für WohnenPlusLeben, you take a central role in accompanying and supporting people with mental health impairments. Your tasks include covering for the team lead during absences, a first step toward a leadership role. The work takes place in the special residential unit Haus 15 (optionally closed) on the clinic grounds.

• Qualified assistance in all relevant areas of life of residents with mental health impairments, support with simple basic and treatment care measures, case-responsible primary care
• Creating and carrying out support planning under BEI_NRW and ICF, and planning and documenting assistance services in the Vivendi software
• Long-term support of people, promoting life goals, social participation and independence, working with authorities, institutions, legal guardians and relatives
• Covering for the team lead during absences: coordinating and ensuring services and continuing internal processes
• Promoting social participation and community living, accompanying holiday trips and outings

• State recognition as a health and nursing carer, nursing professional, special needs educator, educator, social pedagogue or social worker
• Proven work experience working with and for people with mental illness
• Willingness to take on leadership tasks
• Experience documenting support services
• Knowledge of the Federal Participation Act (BTHG) and social participation (SGB IX)
• High degree of personal responsibility and capacity for reflection
• Willingness to work flexibly, as needed, in a multi-professional team
• Independent, well-structured planning, implementation and documentation of work processes
• Intercultural competence
• Willingness to pursue job-related further training
• Solid IT skills
• Valid driving licence
