Internship Flow and Acoustic Simulation Air Conditioning Units

Support our expert team in flow simulation (CFD) / aeroacoustic simulation (CAA) within the development of blowers, heat exchangers, air conditioning units and air ducts Participation in current development topics Investigation, evaluation and integration of new numerical methods into existing development processes Optimization and further development of existing simulation workflows (pre- and post-processing) Validation of simulation results based on existing simulation and test results

• Support our expert team in flow simulation (CFD) / aeroacoustic simulation (CAA) within the development of blowers, heat exchangers, air conditioning units and air ducts
• Participation in current development topics
• Investigation, evaluation and integration of new numerical methods into existing development processes
• Optimization and further development of existing simulation workflows (pre- and post-processing)
• Validation of simulation results based on existing simulation and test results

• Currently no purely voluntary internships can be offered
• Enrollment in a degree program in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, computer engineering, process engineering or a comparable field
• Good knowledge in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and flow simulation (preferably Star CCM+, Paraview)
• Very good PC skills, ideally Linux experience
• Programming skills in Python, Java, Jupyter Notebook an advantage
• Good German and English skills written and spoken
• High motivation and initiative
