One-year training as a healthcare and nursing assistant

The Marienhaus Klinikum Mainz (MKM) is an academic teaching hospital of the University Medical Center Mainz. The facility has 597 planned beds across 15 main departments. An outpatient surgery center, various interdisciplinary and certified centers (e.g., for endoprosthetics, colorectal cancer, or breast cancer) complement our broad diagnostic and therapeutic spectrum. Additionally, the MKM cooperates as a partner of the University Medical Center Mainz in the jointly operated and nationally renowned Mainz Lung Center.

You support our nursing staff in the holistic care and support of patients; You perform basic nursing tasks and accompany patients in daily life; You assist with mobilization and the promotion of independence and well-being; You observe patient conditions and report significant changes to the nursing team; You participate in organizational and supportive tasks in daily ward operations; You work collaboratively in the multiprofessional team and contribute to appreciative care

Personally convincing and empathetic personality; interest in nursing activities; communication skills, good German language skills both written and spoken, and physical resilience
