The dual study program at Mercedes-Benz gives you a sound academic education, practical experience and a real group experience. Through the campus model you experience the company up close: in joint training sessions and seminars, mostly held in Stuttgart, you meet students from all plants. During your practical assignments in the second and third years of study, you start in your home plant Bremen. Electrical engineers work on future topics such as vehicle electrification and intelligent production solutions (Industry 4.0). The theory phases take place at DHBW Ravensburg, Friedrichshafen campus. In the Automation study track, the focus is on hardware and software solutions for process automation.

• In the practical phases you gain experience, e.g. in product and process development, measuring and testing technology, planning, production and quality assurance, or project management.
• In the theory phases, basic subjects such as mathematics, physics, digital technology, electronics and measurement technology, computer science, electrical engineering, control engineering and microcomputer technology are taught.
