Upper Secondary Graduate Program to Become a Certified Retail Specialist (3-in-1)

METRO offers a three-year upper secondary graduate program leading to three IHK qualifications: Retail Salesperson, Certified Retail Specialist and Trainer Qualification. Participants gain experience in various departments of a METRO wholesale store, as well as delivery operations and customer management.

Create special shopping experiences and provide expert customer advice; learn about the product range and the food service sector; manage goods flows, organize processes and design sales areas; deepen knowledge through seminars, e-learning and projects; take responsibility for apprentices and personal projects.

Upper secondary school diploma or advanced technical college entrance qualification with completed internship; strong interest in retail and enjoyment of working with customers from the food service and food industries; commitment, initiative and communication skills; team spirit.
