Apprenticeship as Warehouse Logistics Specialist

Are you ready for a varied apprenticeship as a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) and want to develop into a warehouse hero? From fresh food to catering supplies to international specialties: during your training you get to know the variety of METRO. The training lasts 2 years, with the option to upgrade to Retail Salesperson (m/f/d). Training starts in summer 2027.

• Product expertise: Learn in goods receiving to professionally accept goods, check them and prepare them for optimal storage.
• Warehouse logistics: Make sure goods are in the right place at the right time, and learn modern storage and transport processes.
• Logistics processes: Put together orders for our customers, prepare shipments and gain exciting insights into the workings of a wholesale warehouse.
• Planning deliveries: Gain insights into the route and transport planning of an international wholesaler.
• Safety First: Learn important safety and environmental standards and take responsibility in everyday work.
• Exciting projects: Deepen your knowledge in exciting projects around food, catering and industry trends.
• Career opportunities: After your training, we open up opportunities for personal development in our junior management program to advance your career.

• School education: at least a lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss). Your personality counts with us – a very good grade average is not a priority
