About this Apprenticeship
Varied apprenticeship as a warehouse logistics specialist at METRO in Leverkusen. You get to know the variety of METRO, from fresh food and catering supplies to international specialties, and become part of the delivery team. Training starts in summer 2027, lasts 2 years, with the option to upgrade to retail clerk (m/f/d).
What You'll Learn
- Goods expertise: In goods receiving, learn to professionally accept and check goods and prepare them for optimal storage.
- Warehouse logistics: Make sure goods are in the right place at the right time, and get to know modern storage and transport processes.
- Logistics processes: Put together orders for our customers, prepare shipments and gain exciting insights into the workings of a wholesale warehouse.
- Planning deliveries: Gain insight into the route and transport planning of an international wholesaler.
- Safety First: Learn important safety and environmental standards and take responsibility in everyday work.
- Exciting projects: Deepen your knowledge in exciting projects around food, catering and industry trends.
- Career opportunities: After your apprenticeship we open up opportunities for personal development in our young management talent program to advance your career.
Requirements
- School education: at least Hauptabschluss. Your personality counts with us – a very good grade average is not a priority
- Show your reliability and care as a future warehouse logistics specialist and carry out tasks precisely
- You are a team player and like to get involved
- You are at least 16 years old
