Food Sales Assistant Fresh

As a food sales assistant at METRO in Brunnthal (Zusestraße 6), you are the direct contact for customers and advise on the food range in the fruit & vegetables, meat, fish and dairy departments. The job posting has expired.

• Customer service: you assist customers from the catering sector with all questions about the food range
• Customer advice: through competent advice you motivate customers to buy our goods
• Stocking goods: you ensure, even in a colder environment, well-filled and neatly sorted shelves and freezers
• Goods presentation: you present goods attractively and ensure advertising measures are carried out
• Quality assurance: you ensure compliance with legal and official quality assurance requirements (e.g. HACCP, best-before checks)

• Ideally you have completed training in retail or catering, e.g. cook (m/f/d), restaurant specialist (m/f/d), wholesale clerk (m/f/d), retail clerk (m/f/d), sales assistant (m/f/d), specialist sales assistant (m/f/d) in food retail
• Career changers are also warmly welcome and receive professional induction in fresh food
• Ideally you already have experience in food retail and are willing to keep expanding your knowledge
• You are enthusiastic about retail and have a customer-oriented manner
• You are willing to work in a two-shift system
