Trainee Textile Cleaner starting September 2027

At Mewa, we rent out operational textiles (workwear, cleaning cloths, oil absorbent mats, mops, etc.), collect them after use for cleaning, and return them spotless. For this, we need people who have learned their trade – preferably with us. During your apprenticeship, you will learn to wash, clean, maintain, and finish textiles using modern machines (e.g., washing lines, dryers, and ironing machines). Chemical processes play a central role. Through chemical reactions, we remove stubborn dirt particles, odors, and fats/oils from textiles. In addition, you will work with us to ensure clean wastewater and reduce energy and resource consumption through the use of environmental technology systems. You come to us with a good secondary school leaving certificate (Hauptschulabschluss or Realschulabschluss). You see your future in a technical-manual profession where you operate machines and can lend a hand. An interest in textiles and chemical processes is an advantage.
