A 3.5-year training with the "Best Place to Learn" seal teaches you practical and future-oriented know-how. In the process, you learn the installation, commissioning, testing and maintenance of our fire extinguishing systems. You receive basic training in metalworking – including various welding processes in our training workshop. You learn together with your fellow apprentices in our own Minimax vocational school class (Landesberufsschule Kiel with block instruction and accommodation in a boarding school).

Qualified school leaving certificate. Enjoyment of manual work as well as technical and mathematical understanding. Previous knowledge in fire protection, e.g. from the volunteer fire brigade, is an advantage (but not a must!). No fear of heights. Enjoyment of travel.
