Welcome to NKD Group! This school-leaver training programme to become a certified trade and commerce specialist (m/f/d) takes place in Künzelsau, Baden-Württemberg. The programme starts on 1 September 2026 and lasts 3 years. The monthly training allowance starts at €950 in the first year and rises to €2,088 in the final year. • Retail sales specialist (m/f/d)
• Trainer certification under the German Ordinance on Trainer Aptitude (AdA)
• Certified trade and commerce specialist (m/f/d)

During your 3-year training programme at NKD, you develop into a future manager and take responsibility for staff and sales at an early stage.

First, you learn the basics of clothing retail, such as visual merchandising, merchandise handling and customer service. You support store management early on and get to know other stores as well. After completing their initial vocational training, many of our future trade and commerce specialists (m/f/d) already take responsibility for a store of their own.

In the second part of the school-leaver programme, the advanced training to become a trade and commerce specialist, you prepare for a district sales management position. You accompany managers on store visits and in employee meetings, among other activities, and take part in projects. Particularly committed colleagues already take independent responsibility for smaller districts of 7 to 10 stores at this stage.

You acquire theoretical knowledge throughout the 3 years in blocks of seminars at the group's headquarters in Bindlach.

This comprehensive training opens up extensive career opportunities in our internationally expanding company, with excellent prospects of continued employment after graduation. You can then take on responsible positions managing a large store with strong sales, working as a district sales manager responsible for 15 to 20 stores, or working in visual merchandising or store auditing.
