Field Claims Adjuster Property Claims Service

We are looking for a Field Claims Adjuster (d/m/w) to strengthen our Property Claims Service team for the NRW region on a full-time or part-time basis. People with severe disabilities will be given preferential consideration for internal positions if equally qualified.

You independently handle inspection orders for damages from various areas (e.g., property, liability, or technical insurance) – on time and professionally. The role is usually tied to regional conditions (location in postal code areas 49-40, 58-59) but may also require nationwide deployment. You analyze damages: from cause and plausibility to claim amount – your investigative instinct is needed. You support the team with tricky, construction- and building-specific questions. Checking invoices, calculating costs, and settling claims are part of your tasks. You determine the replacement value/current value of damaged buildings and goods and ensure smooth recourse. Complex cases with legal background? No problem, you contribute well-founded solution proposals. You coordinate and accompany service providers commissioned by the specialist back office on site and document their services. 100% remote option once you are up to speed – pure flexibility (home office, Class B driver's license, own car, and willingness to travel within Germany required).

You have completed training in the insurance sector, a certified insurance specialist qualification, or a legal or technical background. You already have experience with complex insurance law, business, technical, or legal matters. Experience from previous work in skilled trades, construction, housing industry, or fire and water damage restoration is desirable. New problems and questions challenge you every day.
