Apprenticeship - Retail Merchant

Your three-year apprenticeship (shortening possible with good performance!) is the perfect entry to dive deep into our range and lay the foundation for your career. The framework conditions: You work five days a week in various shifts within our opening hours (Monday to Saturday). You attend vocational school in blocks or on fixed days to acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge and prepare well for the exams. Product knowledge - You learn our entire construction and garden range and can later specialise in your preferred area. Business processes - Besides our ranges you also get to know all other areas such as checkout, service centre and goods receipt to understand our business from the ground up. Customer consulting - You advise our customers in the store and find the right solution for every concern. Merchandise management - You familiarise yourself with merchandise ordering and optimal product presentation. Digital customer interaction - Whether app, mail or messenger: You answer customer enquiries via our modern channels and experience contemporary customer dialogue. Project participation - Together with the team you implement varied projects in the store and gain valuable experience during the apprentice project week or in our two-week apprentice store. Outlook after apprenticeship: We train to take you on in responsible specialist and expert positions. Start directly afterwards – for example as kitchen or garden planner, plant expert or as PRO salesperson for our business customers.

School leaving certificate - You have a successful lower secondary school certificate, intermediate school certificate or your general university entrance qualification before the start of the apprenticeship. Customer orientation - You enjoy dealing with people and have an open manner. Enthusiasm - You bring motivation for diverse tasks and a varied daily routine. Communication strength - You can express yourself clearly and understandably both in direct conversation and digitally and are ready to actively advise and sell.

Attractive pay - Graduated remuneration: €1,175 (1st year), €1,280 (2nd year), €1,425 (3rd year) plus pro-rata holiday and Christmas bonuses. Mobility bonus - Receive up to €30 net per month, graduated according to your commute. The full bonus applies from six kilometres; for shorter distances you receive a pro-rata subsidy.
