Accountant / Tax Clerk

Strengthen our central accounting department at the Würselen location near Aachen. You can expect a varied range of tasks from accounts receivable and payable through payment transactions and account reconciliations to monthly and annual closings.

• Process and post incoming and outgoing invoices and credit notes and handle accounts receivable and payable tasks
• Handle bank and cash postings and independently create payment runs
• Perform account reconciliations and clarifications and handle dunning
• Help with monthly and annual closing work
• Handle fixed asset accounting and prepare VAT advance returns
• Maintain relevant master data and ensure reliable data quality
• Work with your team on optimizing and digitalizing accounting processes

• Training as a tax clerk (m/f/d) or commercial training with experience in accounting or financial accounting
• Practical knowledge of accounts receivable and payable, account reconciliation and payment transactions
• Careful, structured and reliable way of working, keeping an overview even with many transactions
• Confident use of accounting software or ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Enjoy teamwork and reliable coordination with other departments
• Desire to contribute your know-how and further develop financial accounting and its processes
