Internship in Production and Logistics Planning in the Engine Manufactory

Internship at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG in the engine manufactory. The team plans and controls assembly and logistics processes for more than 160 engine variants.

• Support of production and logistics planning in daily operations, from capacity analysis to coordination with assembly.
• Contributing to the planning and implementation of complex assembly projects, including analysis of existing processes and development of optimization proposals.
• Independently carrying out an intern project in which you are responsible for a clearly defined topic and present your results to the team.
• Moderating and taking minutes of the weekly department and planning meetings, a central role that gives you deep insight into coordination processes, decision paths and priorities.

• A place at university in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, production, logistics or a comparable degree program (at least in the 3rd semester or in a gap year between Bachelor's and Master's)
• First practical experience in a production environment, e.g. through apprenticeship, working student jobs, pre-internships or side jobs, is desirable.
• First experience in project environments or project-oriented work is an advantage.
• Very good German skills, written and spoken.
• Class B driving licence is required.
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Quick grasp and the ability to understand complex relationships quickly.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills when dealing with various interfaces.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
